Terms of Sale

The offer. Prices are in EUR, VAT included where applicable, shipping included. Each product page states what the garment is and how it is made. Product photography is faithful; wool tones may vary slightly between batches, which is the nature of yarn.

The order. Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed by Stripe. You receive a confirmation email with the summary. Production starts after confirmation and takes 2 to 3 weeks, plus shipping.

Cancellation. You can cancel free of charge until your piece goes on the machine, usually within 48 hours of ordering. After delivery, the 14 day EU withdrawal right applies as described in Shipping & Returns.

Commissions. A commission is made to your approved design. The work starts after you approve the chart and pay the 50% deposit; the balance is due before shipping. You can cancel for a full refund until knitting starts. If you cancel after knitting has started, we keep up to the deposit to cover the work already done and the costs we cannot recover for your piece, and refund any remainder. If we cannot complete the commission, we refund everything you have paid. Because a commission is made to your specifications, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for change of mind does not apply; this does not affect your rights if the piece is faulty or not as agreed.

Commission balance. When the piece is finished, we send you photos and the balance payment link. The balance is due within 15 days. If it is still unpaid after 15 days, we may cancel the commission by written notice; the cancellation rule above then applies.

Chart changes. Two rounds of chart changes are included before approval. Further revisions, or a change to the design itself such as a new motif, additional colours or a substantially larger design element, need a new quote and delivery estimate before approval.

Delivery dates. If you need the piece by a specific date, tell us before paying the deposit. We confirm in writing whether we can commit to that delivery date. If we confirm a delivery date as essential and miss it, you may cancel for a full refund or keep the order in place.

Warranty. The 2 year EU legal guarantee of conformity applies to every garment. Care instructions ship with each piece; wool treated as instructed lasts decades.
