From logo to chart
A knitted logo is a grid of stitches, so it rewards bold shapes: band names in blackletter, sigils, skulls and symbols that read from across a room knit cleanly, in up to three or four colours per row. Hairline strokes and tiny text are the enemy. We redraw your artwork as a knitting chart and tell you honestly if something needs simplifying.
The logo can go across the chest or the back, and lettering can run down a sleeve. You approve the chart, stitch by stitch, before the machine starts.

A single sweater for the singer is a normal commission here, and so is a run for the whole band or the merch table. The chart is drawn once, then every piece is knitted in its own size. Put the number of pieces and the sizes in your request, and the quote covers exactly that.
How it works
Send the logo and the idea with the form. Within 2 working days a human replies with feasibility, price and a knitting timeline. A 50% deposit starts the work, knitting takes 2 to 4 weeks, and shipping is tracked and free worldwide.
The Red Reaper carries our own wordmark, knitted from the same kind of chart your logo would become.

Is there a minimum order for knitted band merch?
No. A single piece is fine, and small runs are welcome.
Is the logo printed or embroidered?
Neither. It is knitted jacquard: the logo is part of the fabric, in 50% wool and 50% acrylic.
What makes a logo work in knitting?
Bold shapes and clear lettering, in up to three or four colours per row. Fine lines and very small text get lost in the stitches, and we say so before anything is knitted.
How long does a run take?
Knitting takes 2 to 4 weeks from the deposit, depending on the number of pieces and the design. Our reply to your request gives you the timeline before you commit.
Can you make balaclavas as well as sweaters?
Yes. Sweaters, cardigans, vests and balaclavas can all be commissioned.
