Knitted, not printed
The motif is jacquard: bone-white and coloured yarns carried through the black wool blend row by row on an industrial flat-bed machine. There is no ink, no transfer and no embroidery on top. Pattern and garment are the same object, so nothing can crack or peel.
Fabric and fit
Heavyweight knit in 50% wool and 50% acrylic: warm and substantial like pure wool, harder-wearing and easier to live with. A finished sweater weighs 450 to 650 g depending on size. Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 2XL. Between sizes, take the bigger one.

Your piece is knitted after you order it: the chart goes on the machine, the yarn is mounted, then it is linked, hand-finished and steamed. Two to three weeks, plus shipping. No dead stock, no warehouse.

In the Alps the night of the fifth of December belongs to Krampus, the horned companion of Saint Nicholas who comes for the children who were not good, announced by the clang of his bells. This jumper puts him where the reindeer usually go: rows of horned heads with red eyes and a long red tongue alternate with bone-white bells on blood-red straps, banded across black wool blend in proper Christmas-jumper rhythm.
The bands run all the way round: front, back and both sleeves carry the same pattern, and every motif on the body is whole, none of them cut in half at the side seams. Across the upper back, between the collar and the first band, KNITFERATU is knitted into the fabric in blackletter.
Relaxed unisex crew-neck with ribbed collar, cuffs and hem, S to 2XL. The colours are carried through the knit row by row, so the motif is the fabric: there is nothing to crack, peel or fade after the first December.

Is the motif printed or knitted?

Is the KNITFERATU lettering on the back knitted too?

Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 2XL. Flat garment measurements in centimetres are on the size guide. Between two sizes take the bigger one, and if you still call it wrong the size exchange is free.
